Tony Agomuoh 18th December 2011

Hello Nkem, I am Tony Agomuoh. I studied at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Nnewi, and learnt about the death of Prof Ezeilo through a friend who graduated from UNTH in 1995. Prof Ezeilo was the foundation Provost of College of Health Sciences, NAU Nnewi, and as one of the first three sets of medical students, I had rare opportunity of interacting with this wonderful scholar of our time. He thought us blood physiology, and the way he handled this topic was so remarkable that it got stamped in one's mind. Is hard to believe that the academic community has lost this rare gem. I doubt if the likes of Prof. Ezeilo would ever be found again. A man endowed with a reservoir of knowledge, an academic icon, who had more than it takes to be proud and arrogant, but chose the path of humility. Prof Ezeilo prepared his farm, planted his seeds, watered, and fertilized them, and they are prospering all over the world. Prof, you have left an indelible mark in the annals of history. You fought the good fight, and came out victorious. May your humble and gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Lord. For the family, I pray God Almighty to give you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Adieu Prof. Tony Agomuoh Winnipeg, CANADA
